Why Do I feel Different?

is a children's book for ages 6-17. It is a new book that was just published today.
A story about a young boy, Eli Spencer, who is different than most of the other children at his school, and he is trying to figure this out through some tough questions. He wants to understand why he is the way he is. He seeks advice from his mother, his friend Noah and his church pastor. The conflicting ideas make him struggle to figure out what is right.
His friend Noah think that Eli is perfectly fine as he is.
His pastor says he need to to resist those feelings and push them away.
His mother does everything in her power to help Eli understand who he is, and why God created him this way.
They go through a series of conversations so Eli will understand that he is not broken or wrong. His truth is that he was made this way. Eli prays to God for better understanding.
His mother finally takes Eli to the library where, with the help of a very nice librarian find a book about two princes from neighboring villages who start a close friendship when they are young. This friendship develops through the years into something more. Eli is trying to understand why nothing bad happened to them in the book. There is no one getting in trouble for being themself and no loud claps of thunder damning them for being different.
By the end of the book, Eli figures out that there is nothing wrong with him. He is just being who God intended for him to be.
